  1. Moisturizer with SPF

Well, technically, this isn’t a make-up. However, a well-moisturized face is a necessity when putting on make-up. With enough moisture on the skin, your make-up looks more natural and smooth. Also, a good amount of SPF protects your skin from the sun’s harmful rays—especially important if you commute going to school.

  1. Loose Translucent Powder

Skip the foundation, and listen to mom’s advice—take advantage of your youthful skin while you still have it. A translucent powder is enough to make you look flawless and show off your natural beauty (with a bit of make-up, though).

  1. Mascara

Don’t bother lining your waterlines with heavy eyeliners. Just swipe a coat of dark brown or black mascara for a natural look. For a bit more drama, do two coats of mascara on your top and bottom lashes. If you want to sport the bright-eyes look, just do the top lashes and leave the bottom bare.

  1. Bronzer

You might be surprised why we prefer bronzer over blush. Well, because most Asian skin have natural glow to them. Take advantage from your naturally pinkish cheeks, and use a bronzer to warm-up the face instead. Don’t forget to dust some on your forehead and chin as well for a youthful, sun-kissed skin.

  1. Lip Gloss

Young, supple lips don’t need heavy lipsticks. Skip the opaque-looking lips and go for sheer glosses instead. Don’t forget to use lip balms, too. They are your secret weapon for dry, chapped lips.

Make-up is for girls of all ages. However, the right make-up and beauty tools make a huge difference in bringing out the best in us. A good rule of thumb though: the younger you are, the lighter your make-up should be. With such youthful skin, there’s noreason to mask it behind heavy make-up.
